Fall Style Guide Look #4: A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
I am a Midwestern girl through and through. Since I moved to California 8 years ago, one of the things I miss the most about the Midwest is visiting the pumpkin patch in the fall. The chilly air, the fresh apple cider, and the smell of just-baked apple cider donuts- you absolutely can’t beat it. Unfortunately, I have yet to discover anything similar near me in California, so every year I get a little homesick in the fall. BUT, if I were to find the Californian pumpkin patch of my dreams, THIS is what I would wear; a cute pair of distressed jeans, a pair of Chelsea boots, a high-cut tank top, a lumberjane fleece button-down shirt, and a rib knit hat!
Of course, no pumpkin patch outfit is complete without the aforementioned apple cider & donuts, so I threw those in there for extra effect. My goal for this look was to (like always) be comfy and casual, yet put together. I also wanted to incorporate an autumn-inspired color palette, like you’d encounter while apple picking or at the pumpkin patch. Check out the other looks in my fall-style series here!
